The Foreign Freshman: An Illicit Romance

Aakriti has just moved from India all the way to New York City for her first year of college. She’s far from home, navigating a new culture, a new roomate, and a full load of classes. But on the first day of her creative writing class, she can’t help but stare at a certain man in the class, and he’s not a student at all…

It is Ian Markson’s first year as a professor, but he struggles to focus on his students. He tries his best to forget the fact that he recently caught his now ex-fiancée cheating, but her constant calls and texts begging him to take her back make it impossible to concentrate. That is, until a certain student makes it difficult for him to concentrate for different reasons altogether.

About the Author: V.J. Kaleka lives in Delhi, India. A lifelong fan of romance, she loves to explore cultural differences in her writing, and the effect they have on relationships.
