Make One Sound (Author Interview)

Make One Sound looks like a great book. What can you tell us about the message?

The message is to the world through the Body of Christ, demonstrating oneness before the world. Because the church is making many different sounds, the church has failed to convince the world we are serving the same God. It is our charge to operate as members of one body, the "Body of Christ," which works together and make a beautiful sound in the earth. This sound is forgiveness, love, and unity, which reflects God's glory in the earth.

How long did it take you to write Make One Sound?

It took me about seven years to finish this book.

What inspired you when writing Make One Sound?

A message God gave me to preach in Europe in September 2013 inspired this book. The Scripture text came from 2 Chronicles 5:11-14. The title of the message was “See the Same Thing, Speak the Same Thing, Make One Sound.

The different messages presented to the world by Christians must change if the world is to believe that God has sent His Son (John 17:21).

Did anything stick out as particularly challenging when writing Make One Sound?

Yes, I had to shorten the book to get it published. I have so much more revelation on the subject to share; however, I did not want the book to be too long.

What do you like to do when not writing?

I work full time, serve as a local Pastor, and as a member of the Board of Bishops for Unity Christian Fellowship, Int.
