What's in a name? (Author Interview)

What’s in a name looks like an exciting story.  Can you tell us a little about Oinkers and Bananas?

Oinkers and Bananas are best friends that love to have fun and play games. They learn life lessons together.

Any plans to turn it into a series?

Yes, this book will be apart of a thirteen book series following Oinkers and Bananas through different life experiences.

What inspired you when writing X What’s in a name?

My three children are my inspiration. I try to address life lessons in a way that is easy for them to understand. After the stories we always sit and discuss what they learned and why it was so important.

How did you come up with the story in What’s in a name?

The Oinkers and Bananas stories came from improvisational bedtime stories with my children. Each child comes up with either the character or the location. Once everyone's ideas are in I get to come up with the story for the night.

What age group is the book for?

3-10 years old

What do you like to do when not writing?

When I'm not writing stories I am spending time with the three kids that inspire my stories.
