The Mind-Mess of Happiness looks like a great guide.  Can you tell us a little about it?

I spent so much time searching for happiness, peace, and contentment and learned a lot about them. I especially learned that they were something that I had to work to keep once I found them. This book basically highlights some of the ways I learned to keep my peace and contentment. I just wanted to use this book to point out some of the things that are hard-wired into our brains and block our happiness, like society’s narrative of what a happy life should look like and the bad habit we have of trying to control the uncontrollable

Any plans to turn it into a series?

I have an idea for part two, but it is still in its planning stages. Hopefully, I will have it ready to publish by late this year or early next year.

What inspired the idea for your book?

The book was inspired by my life experiences and some of the conclusions that I came to. I wanted to share what I learned with others who may be in the same mental condition I was in.

How did you come up with the title for your book?

Well, I figure out that a lot goes on in our minds and that negativity is the default setting to it all. I decided to play on the words because you must sort through the mess in your mind to get to your happiness and then you must work every day to hold on to it.

What will readers get out of your book?

I hope that they will gain understanding above all else. I hope to inspire them to re-wire the way they see the world, the way they view happiness, and the way they think. They will learn that they cannot control everything, and it is madness to even try and that happiness is not based on things we accumulate or the people around us but on the states of our minds.

What do you like to do when not writing?

When I’m not writing I’m reading all the romance books I can get my hands on and looking after my son

Where can readers find out more about your work?

I am a new author so right now while I am working on other WIPs, I am also getting my social media presence together. I am currently working on my website, Instagram, and Facebook pages.
