Can you tell us a little about Yummy Fruits and
Vegetables?
My book Yummy fruits & vegetables is about helping kids learn about healthy food to eat in a fun way. That is what lead me to create a matching coloring book as well.
What motivated you to write the book?
What age group did you write the book for?
This book is for toddlers & preschools.
How long did it take you to write Yummy Fruits and
Vegetables?
It took me a few months to come up with the book idea & create it.
How did you come up with the title for the book?
Most kids associate “Yummy” with delicious food so why not put it before healthy food choices like fruits & vegetables.
Did anything stick out as particularly challenging when writing Yummy Fruits and Vegetables?
The most challenging part was finding the best illustrator to bring my vision to life.
What do you like to do when not writing?
When I’m not writing I am working as a respiratory therapist at a hospital taking care of patients
