Alba Must Dielooks like a great start to a wonderful series. How far along is book two?
The second part of the series I am currently preparing. There is a very clear ending to "Disruptive" with a very powerful message too.
What do you think makes a great thriller?
A good start, a good characters and that history develops with agility, increasing interest and, if possible, the mystery.
What inspired you when writing Alba Must Die?
My main motivation was to try to write a good story that could reach everyone, especially for young people, with a clear message. This message is very powerful, very current and it is clear at the end this book.
What are your ambitions for your writing career? Full time? Part time?
I write for pleasure, here I must say that it is a necessity. Suddenly a very powerful idea arises and I need to write.
When did you decide to become a writer?
Precisely one these ideas arose in my mind and I had the need to write. I would be about 19 years old.
When writing Alba Must Diedid anything stand out as particularly challenging?
Writing it has been a pleasure because everything was well structured in my mind and the story is very powerful. Characters and situations emerged without difficulty. Perhaps the most challenging thing has been to dose well the mystery, the secret that surrounds Alba. Why Alba must die? Make sure the answer is not obvious until the end of the book.
How did you come up with the story of Alba Must Die?
For years I have been writing to entertain. Now I have decided that I can also use it to convey a powerful message, especially among younger people. A clear and clear message in a society as complicated as ours.
What do you like to do when not writing?
Especially enjoy my family. My children and my wife with whom I try to take advantage of all the time that leaves us this life so demanding and so complicated that we have lived. We enjoy reading, watching movies and, from time to time, cycling.
