The Power Of Confidence: Overcome Social Anxiety (Author Interview)

The Power of Confidence, looks like a great self-help book. Any plans for similar books in the future? Yes

What do you think makes a great self-belief/self-help book? A great self-help book must possess efficacy- that the result that is wanted is possible, and that the individual can achieve it.

What inspired you when writing The Power of Confidence? I was wondering how I can help individuals who suffer from anxiety but whom are not receiving therapy services.

What are your ambitions for your writing career? Full time? Part time? I see myself as a part time writer.

When did you decide to become a writer? I decided to become a writer a little over a year ago while sitting on my balcony and thinking about what else can I do besides therapy but that is still in the mental health field.

When writing The Power of Confidence did anything stand out as particularly challenging? It was very challenging for me to sit down and write for periods of time. I often had something else on my mind that I felt needed my attention.

How did you come up with the ideas and concepts in The Power of Confidence? I enjoy working with clients who suffer from anxiety/social anxiety. Many of the ideas and concepts that are mentioned in the book are used more in depth with my actual clients. Other ideas and concepts were developed through research in the counseling field.

What do you like to do when not writing? When not writing, I enjoy being a mother, spending time with friends and family, reading, relaxing, and shopping.
