Invite the Storm looks like an exciting story.  Can you tell us a little about it?

It is a collection of poetry that touches on the subjects of love, heartbreak and hope. It can be relatable to everyone but can really touch those who have gone through rough times. It really is about gearing up for your own personal internal storm.

Any plans to turn it into a series?

Yes, actually. The second book just started the production phase.

That’s an amazing cover.  Can you tell us a little about it?

I really wanted something that reflected the title as the book as well as the themes. The book is about kind of taking a stand against your own internal battles so I wanted to have a cover that spoke to that.

What inspired you when writing Invite the Storm?

Life was my inspiration. My own experiences and the experience and that of those around me.

How did you come up with the title to your book?

The title comes from the metaphor I use for my own internal battles. I view them as storms that I need to weather.

Did anything stick out as particularly challenging when writing Invite the Storm?

Actually being open, honest and vulnerable.

What do you like to do when not writing?

Anything active really. Working out hiking. I also enjoy reading.
