The Sunny Side Up Adventures of Delia & Alina (Author Interview)

The Sunny Side Up Adventures of Delia & Alina looks like an exciting children’s story.  Can you tell us a little about it?

The book is based on two real girls living in an orphanage in Rural Romania. They have lived there all their lives and dream of the outside world.

Any plans to turn it into a series?

I am definitely going to continue the series. There are so many adventures for the crew to go on.

How were the illustrations done in The Sunny Side Up Adventures of Delia & Alina?

The illustrations were done by a friend living in Canada who felt the story and put her passion for children into the illustrations.

What inspired the idea for your book?

The inspiration for writing the book came from the hope of one day helping the girls find a forever family. All proceeds of the book will go directly to finding them families and beyond.

What will readers get out of your book?

Readers will find that no matter what your circumstances dreaming is a wonderful adventure. From daydreaming to night dreaming.

What part of the book was the most fun to write?

The most fun was writing the monastery.  The monastery is based on an actual monastery I was able to visit and felt the amazement and wonder of it all.

What do you like to do when not writing?

My passion is The Delia Foundation and helping children in need. I also love making tinctures and lotions for fun.
