I do not have any
plans to turn Barbrah Rose into a series.
I’m currently working on my next project. Many people are saying that The Journey of
Barbrah Rose should be turned into a film.
What can you tell
about the book?
In the Journey of Barbrah Rose readers
will see Barbrah Rose go through real life human experiences such as bad
relationships and weight issues. Despite
being a full figure woman, Barbrah Rose will experience success in her career
as a recording artist. Eventually she
will encounter Jesus Christ and find contentment.
My
love of music inspired me to write The
Journey of Barbrah Rose. Secondly full-figured singers such as Aretha
Franklin, Etta James, Mama Cass Elliot, and Lulu Roman inspired me to create
Barbrah Rose.
Did anything stick
out as particularly challenging when writing The Journey of Barbrah Rose?
It took me 20+ years
to write and get this book published. I
had once had an idea for Barbrah Rose to get fired from a female singing group
because of her weight. But Dreamgirls
put the end to that idea.
What do you like to
do when not writing?
I enjoy reading, as
well watching the Chicago TV franchises and This Is Us. I also enjoy Cross word puzzles and Wheel of
Fortune.
