After the Storm looks like a great biography, what
can you tell us about it?
After The Storm is a story written about the aftermath of
the worst “life storm” I’ve ever been through. It begins from the moment my
fiancé died and ends with how I met my current boyfriend.
How long did it take you to write After the Storm?
It took me two years to write this book. I began writing it
after I finished my first book Fourteen Day Fiancé. I always knew that I wanted
to write about how my life improved, so I started writing even when I couldn’t
see how it would.
What will readers get out of your book?
Hopefully readers will get a lot of out my book, but the
most important thing I want them to get is that all hope is not lost. No matter
how bad any situation is in your life it can, and will, turn around if you have
faith and never give up.
Did anything stick out as particularly challenging when
writing After the Storm?
I think the hardest thing to write in this book was
describing my past traumas. They were harder to relive than I imagined, but in
the end it did help me heal and it was worth it.
What do you like to do when not writing?
My favorite thing to do when I’m not writing is researching
my family tree. It’s a fun little hobby I’ve picked up over the years! I also
enjoy playing music and traveling.
