Mrs. Lydia McIntyre, a wealthy, proud, quirky retired doctor lived a remarkable life while portraying an unassuming disposition to elude the hands of criminals who were invading her hometown – the once acclaimed friendly city of Montego Bay. Her fears were realized when she was robbed at gunpoint just outside her home.

She developed post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) shortly after that and was subsequently placed in a nursing home against her will. Overwhelmed with humiliation, she resigned to die in the institution.

The execution of her suicide plan was delayed by a felt obligation to say goodbye to her friend, Nalah, who was in a coma after being hit by a drunk driver. Motivated to visit Nalah, she found the will to break out of the nursing home.

What happened to Mrs. McIntyre while in the U.S. will change her life forever.
