Future Gods looks like a great start to the comic series. What can you tell us about it?

Future Gods is a unique story with a lot of unexpected turns and twists in it. Just when you think you get a grasp of the story, something will happen. It's a story that will keep you on your toes because it's kept us on ours and we’re writing it.

 

That’s an amazing cover. Can you tell us about it?

So how we came up with the cover was very unique as well and when you read the first book you will understand it more. All I’m going to say is that this is Hades' game and now the other gods have to play. 

 

What scene or section did you have the most fun writing?

The Fallen God Of The Underworld” was definitely my favorite, coming up with the name and explaining how he became the ruler of the underworld fighting Death and Cerberus was just amazing to me.

 

What inspired the idea for the book?

Well a question was actually the inspiration behind this whole story. My brother, Ja’Qual asked me, ‘If I had to be one Greek or Norse god, which would I be and why?’ So, I told him my answer and after we got off the phone not even 10 minutes later I wrote the characters  “Alex” and “KB”, then I made the story.

 

How did you come up with the title for the book?

It just came to me after I finished writing the story. Like once the story was done and I read over it, I just came up with the name.

 

Did anything stick out as particularly challenging when writing Future Gods?”

Tryna be different was the main thing, because a lot of stories have been written about Greek and Norse gods. Picking different abilities, names, and changing how the stories flow to better convey that things are not always what they seem, especially after the war of the gods.

 

What do you like to do when not writing?

 Personally, I like to play Apex, Rainbow and Madden a lot. I also workout a lot and play basketball here and there other than that I chill. Writing is my main thing. I do a lot of writing, like almost everyday. I enjoy writing a lot of new stories as well. My imagination is crazy so, a lot of my free time I dedicate to writing honestly.
